Klay Thompson exploded for a career-high 60 points in a phenomenal individual display as Golden State steamrolled the Indiana Pacers 142-106 on Monday. Thompson tormented Indiana with a mesmerizing performance which saw him rack up 40 points in the first two quarters alone. A further 20 points in the third quarter gave Thompson the highest individual game tally of his career and the highest of any player in the NBA this season as the Warriors improved to 18-3. Thompson sat out the entire fourth quarter so was denied the opportunity to improve his tally, which included eight three-pointers. Kevin Durant…

Masamichi Kogai, CEO of Mazda, has stated that his company isn’t currently working a sports car larger than the MX-5. During an interview with Automotive News, Kogai was asked if the company had plans for a “larger sports car entry”, to which he simply stated no. This seemingly rules out a new rotary-powered sports car in the near future and contradicts an August report in Japan’s Holiday Auto, which claimed that the company was prepping an RX-7 successor for 2020. The CEO stated that the company is undertaking rotary engine development in order “to overcome any issues we have with…

Becoming a star means everything to your children. How else are they going to make any money when robots do almost everything else? Moreover, being a star allows you to say anything you want to anyone you want. Just ask Kanye. Apple believes it has now developed the perfect way for you to begin your child’s ascent to movie stardom. It’s called the iPhone 7 Plus. I know this because Cupertino has just released an ad that suggests this phone’s video camera is just as good as anything they use in Hollywood. https://youtu.be/qStdSMad6TY We think, indeed, we’re watching a movie….

Volkswagen just announced a new E-Golf with a 50 percent improvement in all-electric range. But it doesn’t hold a candle to Kreisel Electric’s aftermarket upgrade, which more than triples the original E-Golf’s range. Kreisel Electric is a startup based in Austria. The company retrofits European electric vehicles with their own battery technology. This E-Golf started with the 2016 model’s 24.2-kWh battery, producing about 83 miles of range. Now, it’s packing a 55.7-kWh battery pack with a range north of 200 miles, which puts it more in line with the upcoming 2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV.   Kreisel’s advancements come from the…

Three of the internet’s biggest social media sites are banding together to curb the rise of online terrorist content. Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, along with Microsoft, said Monday they have partnered on creating a shared database of images and videos that promote terrorism. The database will store and share among partners the “hashes” — or unique digital fingerprints — of terrorist content that has been removed from the services for violating their community policies. “By sharing this information with each other, we may use the shared hashes to help identify potential terrorist content on our respective hosted consumer platforms,” the…

Standards for 5G technology are still in development, but AT&T offers one business customer access to the next-gen network as part of a limited trial. The cellular network of the future is here, for one business customer. AT&T said Monday it’s offering a trial run of 5G service for a business customer, marking the first time the next-generation cellular network will be used in trials that involve a real customer. Intel will be the customer, using the 5G service in its Austin, Texas offices. The development marks another milestone in a heated race to bring 5G to regular users, even…

Why Do You Think They Call It a Blow “Job”? There has been a lot of anxiety over the past couple of decades about teens and oral sex. Much of it can be traced back to the late 1990s, to a New York Times report that among middle-class teens, oral sex—and by “oral sex,” it meant fellatio—not only was becoming ubiquitous, but that they were engaging in it far earlier and more casually than teens’ busy (read: neglectful) working parents realized. One health educator was quoted as saying, “‘Do you spit or do you swallow?’ is a typical seventh-grade question.”…

Samsung is having some trouble identifying what went wrong with the Galaxy Note 7, which earlier this year was recalled due to a high number of battery explosions, but someone else believes they have the answer. Manufacturing engineering company Instrumental has performed a teardown of the device, and found that the battery simply did not have enough physical room for error. The problem had more than one factor, the teardown found. A phone battery is made up of positive and negative layers, with separators to keep them from touching and sparking. In order to streamline the size of the battery…
